First-Inning Burst Enough To Lead FB Express – Fennell 12U Past Ohio Glaciers Misik

FB Express – Fennell 12U defeated Ohio Glaciers Misik 12u 14-1 on Sunday thanks in part to
eight runs in the first inning.
Ohio Glaciers Misik 12u opened the scoring in the first after JM N drew a walk, scoring one run.
FB Express – Fennell 12U flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring eight
runs on eight hits to take the lead, 8-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Elliot G
that drove in two.
FB Express – Fennell 12U scored six runs on six hits in the bottom of the second inning. Teagan
S hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs, Preston L lined out, scoring one run, and
Luke G singled, scoring one run.
JM stepped on the mound first for Ohio Glaciers Misik 12u. The starting pitcher allowed seven
hits and eight runs over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking two. Geno B
stepped on the bump first for FB Express – Fennell 12U. The hurler allowed two hits and one run
over two innings, striking out four and walking four.
Anthony P and Logan V each collected one hit for Ohio Glaciers Misik 12u. Ashton P stole three
bases. Ohio Glaciers Misik 12u turned one double play in the game.
FB Express – Fennell 12U tallied 14 hits in the game. Teagan drove the middle of the lineup,
leading FB Express – Fennell 12U with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-1 on
the day. Geno, Dom R, Luke, and Griffin M each collected two hits for FB Express – Fennell
12U. Teagan, Luke, Griffin, and Jayce G each stole multiple bases for FB Express – Fennell
12U. FB Express – Fennell 12U ran wild on the base paths, tallying 14 stolen bases for the
game. FB Express – Fennell 12U were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Jayce
made the most plays with six.
